What this services offers

The majority of community pharmacists (chemists) in the Scottish Borders have been trained to offer one-to-one support, including Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) on prescription. Following an initial assessment appointment with the pharmacist you will be invited to attend appointments every fortnight (usually to see the pharmacy technician) for stop smoking support for up to 12 weeks.
