Forth Valley Community Pharmacy Smoking Cessation Service

What this services offers

Forth Valley has 70 Community Pharmacies (chemists) and all of these pharmacies offer a one to one smoking cessation support service including advice and Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT). The service is for smokers (age 12+) who are assessed as ready to quit and suitable for NRT. The client can visit the pharmacy for up to 12 weeks for motivational support.

This service is available during normal pharmacy opening hours, with many pharmacies offering extended opening hours.
